Siân Morrison is the project coordinator and has Advanced Skills Teacher accreditation. Before starting Bloom Productions, Siân was Head of Faculty for Performing Arts in a north London comprehensive. Throughout this time she developed strong creative partnerships within the industry. She is an educational consultant, GCSE and A Level Examiner and visiting lecturer. Before working in formal education, Siân worked in the performing arts industry, devising and touring performances nationally and internationally.
Michael Buffong is an award winning director of film, theatre and television. His television credits include: Holby City, Casualty, Eastenders, Doctor and Hollyoaks. He has directed plays for many theatres including: Manchester Royal Exchange, The Young Vic, Birmingham Rep, Hampstead Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse, The Lyric Hammersmith, Theatre Royal Stratford East, Leicester Haymarket and The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry. Michael has worked with young people, teaching theatre and filmmaking skills throughout his professional career.
John McKinney is an actor and workshop leader. Alongside professional acting experience in film, theatre and television, John has considerable experience of leading acting and new writing workshops with young people in both the primary and secondary age group. He has directed a number of plays with young people, as well as supporting with performance technique for those preparing for exams and auditions.
Dempsey Bovell is an actor, performance poet and musician. He has worked within the film and television industries in drama, animation and documentary. Dempsey has led workshops in acting, new writing and performance poetry with all age groups.
